Microgrids are often considered as the solution for affordable and clean energy in distribution sector. This article presents small-signal stability analysis of a distributed generation unit an autonomous microgrid operation. The purpose proposed strategy is to optimally improve capacity power system restore reasonable operating condition following small physical disturbance. joined execution both modified antlion optimization algorithm (MALO) artificial neural network (ANN), hence it abbreviated MALANN. In this article, controller comprises two control loops, namely inner current loop outer loop. MALO technique incorporated generate dataset possible proportional integral (PI) gain parameters. By using accomplished MALO, ANN trained, convincing estimate brought out through entire machine working condition. implemented MATLAB/Simulink, results examined with test cases compared various techniques such base method ant-lion optimization. prove that reasonably accurate, offers reliable system's
